Velvet A soft fabric that gives it a beautiful appearance by leaving the raw material fibers to cover the weaving surface at a certain length when touching. This fabric is woven with nylon, wool, cotton rayon or silk. Most of the old velvets were woven from silk and cotton. Velvets also differed depending on whether the weft and warp were silk or cotton. The production of velvets, which are mostly used in Africa and the east, dates back to the first ages.
